Hitachi Europe S.A. is searching for a Site Service Engineer to join the Particle Therapy Systems Division for its Proton Therapy project in Madrid, Spain.The Site Service Engineer will be assigned to provide service and maintenance of the Proton Beam Therapy system as a part of Hitachi team under the directions of the Site Manager.The Engineer must have university degree in Engineering or a related discipline (electrical, mechanical, etc.). The degree must be homologated by Spanish government.[Responsibilities]Monitor operation of the system and take actions to improve its performancePerform activities independently and collaborativelyFulfill work orders and business proceduresWork in compliance with all regulatory standardsAdopt new technology, products and processes in daily operationsRespond to calls for service support promptly and communicate with the customer to ensure their satisfactionManage work schedule as well as spare parts usage to maximize effectiveness and minimize costs[Qualifications]University degree in engineering or a related discipline. In case of non-Spanish university degree, it shall be homologated by Spanish government.2+ years of experience in; maintenance of industrial plants, medical devices or nuclear power equipment and/or, Quality Assurance/Quality Control of electrical engineeringProven skill in reading and correctly interpreting various engineering documentsPreferred: knowledge of radiation protectionCapable of working independently as well as a part of cross-functional teamStrong communication and problem-solving skillsFlexibility in working hours and shift patternsProficiency in English and Spanish
