The Corporate Director of Food and Beverage Operations will be a strategic leader responsible for overseeing and enhancing all aspects of food and beverage operations, with a particular emphasis on beverage excellence & cost efficiencies across our diverse hotel portfolio. This role demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record in developing and executing successful food and beverage strategies, driving innovation, and achieving positive guest satisfaction scores. Essential Responsibilities: 1. Develop and articulate a robust food and beverage strategy, with a specialized focus on elevating beverage offerings, which aligns with the overall corporate objectives. 2. Collaborate closely with Corporate Operations Team, General Managers, and Food & Beverage leaders to establish long-term goals, financial objectives, and performance metrics for both food and beverage divisions. 3. Provide strategic guidance to on-site food and beverage teams, ensuring the highest standards of service and adherence to brand excellence. 4. Conduct regular performance assessments and implement strategic interventions to optimize operational efficiency for both food and beverage operations. 5. Ensure that profit margins are maintained, agreed costs are not exceeded through effective control systems, including issuing against dockets, sales analysis, menu costing and cash checks. 6. Oversee all Food and Beverage operating statements, including but not limited to collaboration on monthly inventory and best practices to optimize Cost of Goods Sold (COGS). 7. Hold General Managers and Directors of Food & Beverage accountable for their financial performance. Establish standard operating procedures for hotels with suboptimal food and beverage expense structures to improve overall departmental expenses. 8. Ensure that restaurants are clean and well maintained that table appointments, including flower arrangements are impeccable. 9. Ensure that bartenders and restaurant staff are well trained and properly dressed to serve their customers in a professional and friendly manner. 10. Spearhead the implementation of innovative beverage programs, including but not limited to mixology, curated wine selections, and craft beer offerings. 12. Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with suppliers and vendors for both food and beverage, ensuring the highest quality and cost-effectiveness. 13. Negotiate contracts and terms to maximize value and support the overall financial goals. 14. Ensure that staffing levels are correct and to agreed standards and are not exceeded without prior consultation. 15. Establish and enforce stringent quality control measures and compliance with all relevant industry regulations for both food and beverage operations. 16. Oversee the development and implementation of standardized operating procedures for consistent excellence. 17. Ensure that the Back of the House Department operates effectively and efficiently. 18. To be fully conversant with all statutory requirements regarding a food and beverage operation, that all licenses, including special licenses, are timely applied for and that the conditions affecting the issues of a liquor license are not jeopardized. 19. To prepare and submit on the required format all information necessary for budgeting purposes, timely and accurately. 20. To be fully aware of trends in the industry and make suggestions for improvement of the food and beverage operation. 21. To attend meetings as required. 22. To conduct or ensure that regular on-the-job training is taking place to agreed standards. 23. To ensure that the most suitably qualified person is appointed in the event of a vacancy - wherever possible this should be an internal promotion. To do this kind of work, you must be able to:

Analysis of variance, correlation techniques, etc. Language Skills: Must have developed language skills to the point of being able to: Read newspapers, periodicals, journals, and manuals. Write business letters, summaries and reports using prescribed format and conforming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style. Participate in discussions and debates.
