This is the role

The Specification Specialist is responsible for providing engineering support to LyondellBasell's EU/APAC APS businesses. The successful candidate will work with appropriate internal organizations to manage product specification master data.
Drive the improvement of processes and systems used to manage manufacturing and commercial product specifications, product quality practices and related information and data.
Manage alignment of product specifications across plants and systems for each division.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Support updating relevant product master data in appropriate business systems including specifications, and commercial technical product information;
  • Drive improvements to systems and procedures aimed at optimizing the management of specifications and product quality assurance. Work with the Global Innovation Business Process Architects and Information Technology organization to troubleshoot system breaks, consult on design and test SAP software enhancements;
  • Lead/Support periodic reviews for alignment of commercial and manufacturing specifications (including data mining and statistical analysis) across plants and systems;
  • Create Customer Specifications and manages the database for CS and PPAP documentation;
  • Create new Master Inspection Characteristics and consolidates, as necessary.
This is what you bring

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, will consider candidates with 5+ years relevant qualifying experience;

Work Experience: Minimum of three years of commercial or technical (Quality, PAD, Manufacturing) experience. Conversant with product specifications, quality systems, customer/OEM requirements, business operations, SAP, and PLM database;

Languages: Fluent in English.
