We are seeking an innovative and visionary intern to join Zurich's Group AI. As a GenAI Services Full stack developer, you will have the opportunity to work hands-on and contribute to projects involving AI, including deep learning, large language models, computer vision, and machine learning.

 

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that collaborates on ideation, development, implementation, and deployment of AI solutions. This internship offers a chance to explore emerging AI trends and make a real-world impact. You will collaborate with talented AI experts, machine learning engineers, data engineers, backend developers, ML Ops professionals, architects, and AI Governance specialists.

Your role

 

As a GenAI Services Full stack developer you will have opportunity to: 

  • Work at a leading multi-line insurer that serves its customers in more than 215 countries with about 55 000 employees worldwide
  • Gain experience in communication and dealing with business stakeholders across number of functions
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining fully-fledged web services, encompassing both front-end and back-end components, for large language model application-oriented (LLM) teams.
  • Providing support in improving and automating the DevOps and MLOps processes and tools.

 

 Your Skills and Experience

 

We would like to give this opportunity to somebody who is: 

 

  • Active student status with Spanish University/School is mandatory 
  • University student interested in developing career in tech field 
  • Looking for at least 6 months part-time/internship program  
  • Tech savvy approach 
  • An enthusiastic, capable, curious person craving to learn 
  • A good team player with responsible and can-do attitude 
  • Able to use English for communication with colleague and managers from abroad on daily basis 
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn quickly and adapt to new situations and technologies.
  • Knowledge in JavaScript. Also nice to know HTML, CSS or SASS.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript and front-end frameworks like React and Next.js.
  • Knowledge in Python or Node.js for server logic, API development, and frameworks like Express.js, NestJs, Fast API, or Flask.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, Cosmos DB, or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
  • Knowledge of large language model concepts is a plus.
  • Nice to have familiarity with LangChain and LlamaIndex frameworks, prompt techniques, embedding generation, fine-tuning, chunking documents, chains, etc.
  • Good documentation skills will also be valued.
