Misión

In this role, you will streamline financial processes and enhance reporting tools within a four-person team, reporting to the Group's CFO. Your expertise as a Power BI product owner will drive improvements and support the Group Controlling team, influencing strategic decisions through comprehensive financial analysis and reporting.

Funciones y responsabilidades

Key responsibilities are:

  • Managing user requests for enhancements in collaboration with the IT department for Controlling, Consolidation, and Planning tools.
  • Serving as the product owner for Power BI Financial datasets, coordinating enhancements, and new requests with key users.
  • Writing and maintaining functional specifications for database enhancements and business processes.
  • Participating in the implementation of new tools and acting as a key contact between IT, external consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement in current business processes and tools.
  • Performing administration tasks for the Group Financial Planning tool and supporting the Group Controlling team during the forecasting exercises.
  • Contributing to the reporting to the Management Board on the Group's performance, including support in financial analysis and variance reviews.
Formación
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Systems Engineering.
Conocimientos específicos
  • Self-motivated with a strong initiative and a proactive approach. Dynamic, results-oriented, and hands-on.
  • Skilled in leveraging a range of analytical tools and advanced information technology applications for data analysis and problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous and matrixed international work environments.
  • Proficiency in large-scale data mining and reporting tools, such as Power BI, SQL, and Essbase.
  • Strong business acumen with insight into the operational impacts of business decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
  • Understanding of accounting concepts, primarily IFRS.
Experiencia
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in process optimization and change management to enhance team effectiveness and work quality.
  • Expertise in Power BI for reporting and data modeling.
  • Experience in building collaborative business partnerships.
  • Desired experience with Agile methodology, emphasizing iterative development and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with financial planning tools like Hyperion, SAP BPC, or similar platforms is advantageous.
