Bio Engineer Biosensors

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a full-time position as a Bio-Engineer acting as a developer on a project involving biosensing & microfluidics technology.The company Onalabs Inno-Hub SL is a technology-based company expert in biometric medical devices with broad impact on sweat-based digital biomarkers. Currently we want to incorporate a doctor with experience in the development and implementation of biosensors in microfluidics commercial products.The main activities of the candidate in the company will be to provide knowledge, leadership, and to manage a talented and highly dynamic team. The R+D department wants to hire a doctor with experience in the design and characterization of electrochemical with the drive to develop a professional career in a leading company in the development of biometric medical devices.The R+D department that the candidate will join is formed by a very young team, with great creativity, with a great capacity to provide solutions and highly proactive. It is a multidisciplinary group of people, capable of facing diverse challenges in the way of designing, carrying out and validating novel monitoring solutions in a clinical environment. The R+D team publishes in international scientific journals and submits high quality patents.Currently, the R+D department main goal is to underpin the products we will soon put on the market, and the design and development of the technological foundations of the next generation of Onalabs biosensing products. Onalabs R+D development is supported by national and international publicly funded R+D joint projects, working along with some of the most important leading technological companies in Europe (e.g. Philips Healthcare, ST Microelectronics, Infineon, Fraunhofer), being leaders in some of such projects.What do we look for from the candidate?

• A person with PhD degree and experience in Biosensors, Microfluidics and Electrochemistry.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. biomedical engineering, biochemistry, chemistry, etc.).
• Teamwork and leadership abilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Collaborate with technology providers in the development of proof of concepts and minimum viable product (MVP) developing and technological verification.
• Collaborate MVP clinical evaluation studies with both healthy volunteers and/or patients (agreements with medical teams).
• Perform and document work according to our quality systems (ISO 13485).
• English proficiency (at least, Advanced level)What do we offer to the candidate???
