FASHION SOURCING SPECIALIST

WHAT WOULD YOUR DAY TO DAY BE LIKE AT MANGO?

As a Fashion Sourcing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our fashion company has access to high-quality materials and products. Your responsibilities will include identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.

Supplier Identification and Evaluation:

Research and identify potential suppliers for fabrics, trims, accessories, and finished goods. Evaluate suppliers based on their quality, reliability, pricing, and ethical practices. Contract Negotiation:

Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favourable terms, including pricing, lead times, and payment terms. Supply Chain Management:

Monitor and manage the end-to-end supply chain, from sourcing raw materials to final product delivery. Coordinate with production/purchase teams to ensure timely availability of goods. Market Research and Trend Analysis:

Stay informed about industry trends, innovations, and emerging markets. Understand consumer preferences and adapt sourcing strategies accordingly. Compliance and Sustainability:

Ensure compliance with legal and environmental regulations. Promote sustainable sourcing practices, such as using organic or recycled materials. Work together with the Quality team to ensure the quality level of the productions. Propose improvements to quality team and suppliers QUALIFICATIONS:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field. Previous Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in fashion sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management. Experience working with international suppliers is a plus. Skills and Competencies:
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships. Analytical mindset for evaluating supplier performance and market trends. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other procurement software. Proficiency in English, other languages is a plus Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. WHAT MAKES US SPECIAL
