We are seeking an experienced Centrifugal Compressor Technician to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of centrifugal compressors and associated equipment. The technician will work onsite at our oil and gas facilities to ensure the reliable operation of compressors and related systems. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of centrifugal compressors, including disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of components. Conduct troubleshooting and fault diagnosis on compressor systems to identify and rectify faults. Carry out predictive and preventive maintenance tasks, including vibration analysis, oil analysis, and performance monitoring. Install, commission, and start-up new compressor systems. Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to optimize compressor performance and efficiency. Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repair history, and spare parts inventory. Required Qualifications Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Trades, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in the maintenance and repair of centrifugal compressors in the oil and gas industry. Strong knowledge of centrifugal compressor principles, operation, and maintenance. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as API, ASME, and OSHA. Certification in compressor maintenance and repair, such as API 686 or equivalent. Experience with compressor control systems, including PLC and DCS programming. Knowledge of vibration analysis, oil analysis, and performance monitoring. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software. Leadership or supervisory experience in a maintenance team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
