Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Team of SRE Expert Unit

The responsibility of this team is to ensure the reliability and scalability of the platform to provide the best customer experience to our clients and our way of working is to guide product teams on accomplishing their availability goals by developing SRE practices along with them.

Your key responsibilities:

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will:

Positively contribute to the development SRE Practices:

• Detect & Repair: Observability, Incident Response & Postmortems
• Prevention & Prioritization: Capacity Management, Reliability Testing & Error Budget
• Sharing the knowledge and providing awareness campaigns to SRE practices
• Identification areas for improvements and providing technical hands-on assistance for IT service owners in SRE Practices
• Defining and reporting SRE metrics, ensuring if company's production systems are highly reliable, available, efficient, secure, and scalable
• Fostering a culture of implementing optimal observability and monitoring
• stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in SRE and platform management
• partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures
• collaborate with cross-functional teams to align SRE objectives with business goals
• improve service reliability through blameless post-incident reviews and using code to prevent or respond to problem reoccurrence

  Proven track record and technical skills: 

  • Strong understanding of system design principles, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure, 
  • Deep knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog, AppDynamics, New Relic, etc.), 
    • Solid knowledge in Linux, system monitoring, Infrastructure-as-a-Service and configuration management.  
    • Ability to troubleshoot problems using high- and low-level debugging tools and techniques throughout all our stack.  
    • Knowledge in: Ansible, Docker, Azure Devops.
    • Knowledge with cloud computing and container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift).  
    • System testing skills including performance testing to stress the systems and find the limits. 
    • Experience with version control tools (Git).
    • Ability to automate using Python/Go.

      Desirable skills: 

      • Experience working in Software Development (i.e. Java - 3+ years). 
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

        Buscamos un Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) con talento y entusiasmo para unirse a nuestro equipo de SRE Expert Unit.

        La responsabilidad de este equipo es asegurar la fiabilidad y escalabilidad de la plataforma para proporcionar la mejor experiencia de cliente a nuestros clientes y nuestra forma de trabajar es guiar a los equipos de producto en la consecución de sus objetivos de disponibilidad mediante el desarrollo de prácticas SRE junto con ellos.

        Tus responsabilidades clave:

        Como Site Reliability Engineer, deberás:

        Contribuir positivamente al desarrollo de prácticas SRE:

        • Detección y reparación: Observabilidad, Respuesta a Incidentes y Postmortems
        • Prevención y priorización: Gestión de la capacidad, pruebas de fiabilidad y presupuesto de errores
        • Compartir los conocimientos y realizar campañas de concienciación sobre las prácticas de SRE
        • Identificación de áreas de mejora y prestación de asistencia técnica práctica a los propietarios de servicios de TI en las prácticas de SRE.
        • Definir e informar sobre las métricas de la SRE, garantizando que los sistemas de producción de la empresa sean altamente fiables, disponibles, eficientes, seguros y escalables.
        • Fomentar una cultura de implementación de observabilidad y supervisión óptimas.
        • Mantenerse al día sobre las tendencias del sector y las tecnologías emergentes en SRE y gestión de plataformas
        • Colaborar con los equipos de desarrollo para mejorar los servicios mediante pruebas rigurosas y procedimientos de release
        • Colaborar con equipos multifuncionales para alinear los objetivos de SRE con los objetivos de la organización
        • Mejorar la fiabilidad del servicio mediante revisiones posteriores a incidentes sin culpables y utilizando código para prevenir o responder a la reaparición de problemas

          Trayectoria y aptitudes técnicas demostradas: 

          • Sólidos conocimientos de los principios de diseño de sistemas, sistemas distribuidos e infraestructura en la nube, 
          • Profundo conocimiento de herramientas de monitorización y observabilidad (por ejemplo, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog, AppDynamics, New Relic, etc.), 
          • Sólidos conocimientos en Linux, monitorización de sistemas, infraestructura como servicio y gestión de la configuración.  
          • Capacidad para solucionar problemas utilizando herramientas y técnicas de depuración de alto y bajo nivel en toda nuestra pila.  
          • Conocimientos en: Ansible, Docker, Azure Devops.
          • Conocimientos de computación en la nube y orquestación de contenedores (Kubernetes, OpenShift).  
          • Conocimientos de pruebas de sistemas incluyendo pruebas de rendimiento para estresar los sistemas y encontrar los límites. 
          • Experiencia con herramientas de control de versiones (Git).
          • Capacidad para automatizar usando Python/Go.

            Habilidades deseables: 

            • Experiencia trabajando en desarrollo de software (es decir, Java - 3+ años). 
            • Buena comunicaciónm y habilidades interpersonales para el trabajo colaborativo.
