BUNGE has an exciting opportunity available for a Crushing Manager. In this role, you will be under the supervision of the Director of Factory, you will manage the global operation of the manufacturing process, to achieve the objectives of production in quantity, quality and performance of the products obtained, according to standards established and others. The ideal candidate will be involved in the production process area under their supervision and managing. Develop corrective actions associated with environmental aspects and environmental risks of process and facilities. Keep updated system operation documentation. Carry out plans of actions associated with objectives and targets thar are allocated from the management of factory.

More on the Crushing Manager role:

 

• Responsible for Plant Performance (which include Safety, Quality, Environment, Daily crush production, planning, reliability, KPIs, CU, compliance, etc.). Control and follow up of all manufacturing process, and performance objectives according to the parameters required by management.
• Responsible for People Management: performance review, development, training, promotions, changes, etc.
• Responsible for communication and reporting in alignment with BMOS requirements and Company Policies.
• Responsible to 5S implementation in their area of responsibility.
• Responsible to keep SOP’s up to date.
• Responsible to coordinate shutdowns.
• Crushing Manager is the final responsible for KPIs, so will present and push for initiatives, CAPEX to improvement KPIs and facilities.
• Responsible to coordinate internal transfers and storage of raw materials and finished products of manufacture of the plant.
• Participate in the HACCP meetings and supports with its knowledge the tasks arising from the maintenance of the HACCP system.

 

 

We are looking for different skills in our ideal candidate:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technical Engineering, Chemistry or other related field
• Fluent in Spanish and advanced English.
• +/- 3 years’ experience in similar position.
• Experience with project management and leading with teams in an agile setting.
• Experience of processes food Industry with process of manufacture and industrial laboratory or Energy.
• Availability for non-frequently travels.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office package. SAP.
• Strong leader, collaborator, team player, and individual contributor.
• Strong communication skills with comfort in speaking with business stakeholders and with their team.
• Strong problem solver with ability to manage and lead the team to push the solution and progress.
• Proven knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the relevant industry
• Proven knowledge and understanding of standard precision practices, technology and supporting industry principles.
• HACCP.
