As our future Big Data Developer:


  • You will work with data loading processes, ETL, data pipelines, and real time processes.
  • You are responsible for the government of data in Big Data architectures, the compilation of the functional documentation, and the design of data procedures within the organization.
  • You work hand in hand with a multidisciplinary group of engineers to deal with tasks at your responsibility using agile methodologies.
  • You are responsible for the development of secure applications to extract value from data.
  • You analyse, evaluate, and make use of new technologies, tools, or frameworks around data management.
  • You master all the concepts around Data Lifecycle: Data Quality, Transformation, Analysis, Data Governance, etc.


Your profile


You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, Telecommunications, or related, and a Certification, such us Cloudera Certified Associate, Data Engineer, IBM Certified Data Engineer, Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer, or related and if not, you are willing to get certified. Additionally, you have at least 3 years of experience working preferably within the IT/Consultancy industry.


You have knowledge of the following:


  • Some of the following programming languages: Scala, Python, Java, API RESST, Bash/Shell script, SQL, NoSQL.
  • Experience with Apache Spark, Impala, Hive, HBase
  • Experience/knowledge with the exploitation of databases: MySQL, MongoDB, HBase, SolR, Hive & Impala
  • Experience with end-to-end ETL processes
  • Experience with Apache NiFifor data flow automation.
  • It will be highly valued if you have any of these certifications: Cloudera Certified Associate (CCA), Spark and Hadoop Developer, CDP Generalist, CDP Data Developer, or CDP Data Analyst.

On a personal level, you like taking the initiative, you are eager to learn and enjoy working in a team. Next to this, you have excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
