About the job

In this position you will lead our Supply Chain Management (SCM) Services team, playing a vital role by supporting daily SCM operations, troubleshooting and leading projects and process changes. The SCM Services scope includes, but is not limited to, processing freight inquiries, certificates of origin, freight invoice verification, purchase orders, documentation & reporting. Embedded in our Global Shared Services (GSS) structure, you will manage a team of 10 and will interact daily with both internal and external stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment and positioning GSS as a key partner for the business.

In addition, your tasks will include

• Communicating any operations risk or backlog in a timely and transparent manner
• Performing root cause analysis in case of incidences & suggesting improvements
• Communicating performance reports, team results and other relevant topics to stakeholders
• Team management topics (e.g. task distribution & follow-up, personnel development, performance monitoring)

What we expect from you in terms of

Education & Skills

• A degree or training in logistics or similar
• Incoterm, customs and quotation know-how
• Landfreight and seafreight process understanding
• Experience in working with SAP and Excel

Languages

• English – fluent
• Any other language will be considered an asset

Work Experience

• A few years of professional experience in the field of supply chain management
