- API Experience: Create outstanding API experience for our users
- Team Support: Help out in other areas of the stack if necessary
- Agility: Be agile, adapt to business-driven changes in projects and products
- Collaboration: Collaborate with front-end team and embedded software team
- Maintainability: Understand the aspects of maintainability, stability, and compatibility
- Code Reviews: Make code reviews and be code reviewed
- Technology Choices: Choose technologies based on forward-looking, well-informed decisions
- Testing: Implement automated tests
- Documentation: Participate in writing detailed technical and functional documentation
- Customer Feedback: Review customer feedback

Education and Soft Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Personality: Spirited, energetic, easy-going person
- Interests: Interested in Internet of Things, gadgets, and technology in general
- Languages: Fluent in English, any other languages are an asset and can be put to good use
Basic Requirements - Languages: JavaScript / TypeScript
- Environment: Node.js, npm, express
- Version Control: git (in a team setup)
- Protocols: HTTP / REST
- Security: SSL / TLS, PKI, AES, Hashing
- Data Formats: JSON, BSON
Other Requirements - Agile Methods & Tools: (JIRA)
- Work Environment: 100% Linux (desktop & server)
- API Design
- Real-Time Data Processing: Websockets
- Message Brokers: (MQTT, AMQP)
- Containers & Microservices Architecture: Docker
- Time-Series Engines: ElasticSearch or others
- Reverse Proxy Concepts: Nginx
- Cross-Data-Center Replication: (global infrastructure)
- Distributed Systems, Scalability, High Availability
- DevOps Tools
- Experience: At least 5 years as a backend developer
