QA Analyst

In DXC Spain we are looking for a QA Analyst to join and lead one of our teams. This is a new global testing service for a major client in the financial sector that provides DXC as a sole partner.

What are we looking for?

• People eager to participate in a functional testing team of customer applications.
• Knowledge and experience in the banking sector, in the Transactional Banking, Corporate Banking, Risk, Digital, etc. business areas.
• Experience in functional testing of applications supported by different technologies: mainframe, middleware and/or web or digital environments.
• Experience in analyzing and interpreting project requirements from functional analysis or user story.
• Experience in the design of test scenarios and test cases according to the defined requirements. Knowledge and experience in some of the testing tools and frameworks, such as; HPQC, ALM or similar.
• Experience in identifying issues, reporting and following up with development teams. Knowledge in cross-functional management tools such as Jira,
• Experience in reporting results and participating in follow-ups and committees. Good communication with the client
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Some certification in the area of testing such as ISTQB will be an asset
• Language: English medium-high level (minimum B2)

What will your day-to-day work be like?

• You will work in a multidisciplinary team integrated in an international and multicultural environment.
• You will participate in the presentation of development projects (Project Kickoff).
• You will analyze project requirements
• You will define the testing strategy and processes
• Create the test plan and implement it in tools
• Validate both test preparation and test results, applying the input and output criteria for each test phase and preparing the project closeout report
• Identify and document defects and issues
• Ensure process compliance, identifying gaps and opportunities for process improvement
• Participate in meetings with the development teams
