As the Music Director at Puente Romano, you will be responsible for curating and overseeing the musical ambiance across multiple outlets including food and beverage venues, nightclubs, gym, and spa areas. Your role will encompass maintaining sound systems, sourcing and managing DJs, programming music streaming services, and occasionally providing DJ services when required. This position requires a creative and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about creating immersive and memorable experiences through music.


Responsibilities

Curate Music Atmosphere:

Develop and maintain a comprehensive music strategy that aligns with the brand image and target demographics of each outlet.Ensure that the music enhances the ambiance and overall guest experience in all areas of the hotel.


Sound System Management:

Oversee the maintenance and operation of sound systems in various outlets, ensuring optimal performance at all times.Troubleshoot any technical issues related to sound equipment and collaborate with the maintenance team for prompt resolution.


DJ Sourcing and Management:

Identify and recruit talented DJs who can deliver exceptional performances tailored to each outlet's atmosphere and clientele.Negotiate contracts, manage schedules, and provide guidance to DJs to ensure consistency in musical programming.


Music Programming:

Curate playlists and music selections for streaming services used throughout the hotel, considering factors such as time of day, guest demographics, and seasonal trends.Stay updated on the latest music trends and genres to keep the music offerings fresh and engaging.


Live DJ Performances:

DJ at designated times and venues as needed, ensuring seamless transitions between tracks and maintaining energy levels in line with the atmosphere.Engage with guests to gauge their music preferences and adapt the playlist accordingly to create personalized experiences


Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with other departments such as F&B, events, and marketing to coordinate music-related initiatives and promotions.Communicate regularly with management to provide updates on music-related activities, performance metrics, and guest feedback.


Requirements.

Proven experience as a Music Director.Strong knowledge of music genres, trends, and the ability to curate playlists that cater to diverse audiences.Proficiency in sound system operations and troubleshooting.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with DJs, staff, and management.Experience in DJing and mixing music live is preferred.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the operational needs of the hotel.Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and a commitment to upholding the hotel's standards of excellence.
