Demand Planner

Join a leading multinational chemical company as a Demand Planner Analyst, where your insights will drive our forecasting process. You'll play a pivotal role in aligning customer needs with our business strategy, ensuring we make smart, data-driven decisions.

Your Impact:

• Analytical Scope: Leverage data to predict future demands, overlaying your market knowledge for precision.
• Strategic Insight: Provide actionable insights for both long-term (4-36 months) and short-term (0-3 months) demand planning.
• Collaborative Excellence: Partner with internal sales teams and external customers to fine-tune forecasting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate and detailed forecasts in order to contribute to IBP process.
• Accurately reflect customer plans across key metrics (e.g. Volume, GIV & PPL).
• Challenge & manage the assumptions used in the sales forecast in order to inform the correct business decisions and gain learnings to improve future performance.
• Monitor performance to forecast and lead discussions to tackle the issues as they arise.
• Understand the impact of changes in the forecast on the wider business and keep Marketing/Finance and Supply chain informed of any changes.
• Manage, analyse and take learnings from abnormal customer demands to inform decision making with the Demand Control process, whilst striving to meet Customer service requirements.
• Gain Customer expertise and liaise directly with customers to understand their future business plans and activities

What We're Looking For:

• University degree.
• Fluency in English is a must.
• Proven experience in forecasting and supply chain management.
• Sales experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in systems like OMP, SAP, APO, Cognos, Contributor & BI.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• A numerate, analytical mind, result-oriented.
