Laboratory Technician Trainee

We are currently looking for a Laboratory Technician Trainee to join our industry leading Nalco Commercial Engineering team in Etxebarri (Bilbao). If you are a student in the final years of your degree and are looking for an internship to broaden your knowledge and gain experience, this opportunity is for you.

What You Will Do

• Support execution of lab and pilot test with existing RO/UF bench equipment
• Perform basic water analysis characterization
• Analyze results, draw conclusions and prepare report
• Keep update laboratory inventory
• Support Senior Engineers in project execution
• Prepare basic engineering (mass balance, PFD, )
• Support Site O&M (Operation Maintenance) team for troubleshooting and continuous improvement implementation

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical / Environmental Engineering or Master Degree
• Familiarity with water treatment, environmental and sustainability topics
• English / Spanish fluent written and verbal
