What are we looking for?

 

At GFT we have an open position for a Senior Java developer with Google Cloud Platform to join in GFT. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic person willing to grow in a multi-cultural, motivating an challenging envieroment. 

 

Your manin responsibilities: 

 

  • Working on the assigned stories
  • Delivering quality code with minimum defects
  • Following the principles of Agile Methodology
  • Carrying out BDD (Behaviour Driven Development)
  • Ensuring production stability of the sub ledger and proactively raising issues/ defects, etc.
  • Review and identify gaps with support documentation and update accordingly
  • Identify issues that are due to application or data issues, highlight and escalate accordingly
  • Implementing Continuous Integration, Delivery, and Deployment
  • Following Infrastructure as Code principles
  • Sharing your knowledge with other team members to cross pollinate skills
  •  Automating and optimizing all manual repetitive tasks
  • Support and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies
  • Provide continuous service improvement

 

Skills that will help you suceed:

 

  • Technical Diploma or a University Degree in Computer Engineering, Sciences or its equivalent.
  • Great experience working with Java almost 3 years.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform almost 1 years (As a Lead  qith primary focus in Google Cloud Services like Cloud Run, Cloud Function, Data Proc, PostgreSQL, extensively worked on Terraform with language specialization in Java)
  • At least B2  level of English, written and spoken.
