Engineering Manager (Solutions Architecture / Sports) Location: Fully Remote (UK/EU-based team) Salary: £90,000 - £100,000 DOE Contract Type: Permanent About Our Client: I'm excited to partner with a fast-growing digital consultancy that's transforming the sports tech industry. My client is delivering cutting-edge platforms and innovative solutions for major clients across Europe, powering fan engagement, performance analytics and scalable SaaS tools that make a real impact. The Role: I'm searching for a skilled Software Engineering Manager with a passion for Solutions Architecture to lead the technical delivery of high-impact, innovative products for my client. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine hands-on coding, solution design and people leadership while shaping their engineering culture and contributing to strategic growth. Key Responsibilities: Lead technical delivery of modern digital ecosystems for sports clients, including fan engagement platforms, performance analytics and SaaS tools. Architect scalable, high-performance solutions using clean architecture principles and DevOps best practices. Provide hands-on coding and technical expertise in .NET/C#, JavaScript (React/Angular), Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices. Mentor and guide a talented team of engineers through code reviews, process improvements, and professional development. Collaborate with product teams to design and deliver innovative, user-focused solutions. Enhance developer experience by championing best practices, streamlined workflows, and robust engineering processes. Contribute to strategic leadership, with opportunities to shape engineering culture and grow into a broader role. What I'm Looking For: Proven experience as a Software Engineering Manager or Senior Engineer with a focus on solutions architecture. Strong technical skills in .NET/C#, JavaScript (React/Angular), Azure, CI/CD and microservices architecture. Experience designing and delivering scalable digital solutions, ideally in sports, entertainment, or similar industries. Bilingual French/English is a significant advantage, as some clients are based in France and across Europe.
