About the Role Reviewing Expense Reports: Assessing expense claims submitted by employees to ensure they are compliant with company policies and any applicable tax regulations. Verification: Checking supporting documentation such as receipts, invoices, and proof of payment to verify the accuracy and legitimacy of the claims. Data Entry: Recording the reimbursement details into the accounting system and assigning expenses to the correct cost centers and accounts. Approvals: Facilitating the approval process for expense claims, routing them to the appropriate managers or departments for authorization. Compliance: Staying informed about and complying with local tax laws related to reimbursements, such as VAT reclaim procedures in Europe. Reconciliation: Reconciling the reimbursement accounts to ensure that all payments are accounted for and reflected correctly in the financial statements. Communication: Serving as a point of contact for employees and other claimants regarding reimbursement policies, claim status, and queries. Support for monthly closing and completion of other financial tasks assigned by superiors About You University degree in Accounting / Finance / Taxes or Training as an Accountant Well-versed handling of common ERP systems i.e Oracle Business One Knowledge of VAT law is preferable Experience with international company structures is desirable Responsible, passionate about new tasks and challenges High social competence, strong communication and team skill Business fluent in Chinese and Spanish language, English would be a plus
